Noemi Villela-Dean
Noemi Villela-Dean started as a theatrical writer and director who now writes pilots and screenplays, (and sometimes to do lists, lest she forget everything). With a flair for injecting magical realism and dark humor into every story she tells, Noemi likes to imagine 'what if'. Her biggest 'what if' is what would society be like if women had been in control from the beginning? She just finished a screenplay adaptation of the graphic novel Joe Frankenstein, that is currently in pre-pre-production. She's also worked as a playwright adapting fairytales for the stage with hilariously fresh spins on old classics as well as well as wickedly funny original works. Noemi holds an MFA in Television & Screenwriting from Stephens College.
