Jennie Jarvis
Jennie Jarvis (she/they) is a neurodiverse, coffee-addicted Whovian with experience in both literary and film writing. She's a three time Telly-Award winning short filmmaker, and her short film, Connection, screened at over three dozen film festivals world-wide and won multiple awards, including audience awards.
A educator and writing instructor, Jennie is an Academic Member of the Television Academy. Her craft textbook, Crafting the Character Arc: A Practical Guide to Character Creation and Development, is used in creative writing classrooms worldwide.
Jennie received her MFA in Creative Writing for the Stage and Screen from Queens University of Charlotte, and her BFA in Film from Florida State University.
Today, she lives in Florida (don't blame her. she didn't vote for him), but stays connected to the industry. She is a judge for a major screenwriting competition and continues to write and make her own films.
